Jeremy’s work in education is shaped by years of experience teaching elementary students across grade levels kindergarten through fifth grade. That range brings a broader understanding of how students grow, where they need support, and what meaningful learning looks like at different stages.

His approach to education is practical and student-centered. Strong instruction, high expectations, and real opportunities matter. The goal is not only academic growth, but helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a sense of possibility about what they can do.

Family Partnership

Lasting school success does not come from educators working alone. It grows when schools and families build trust, communicate clearly, and participate together in the life of the school.

Jeremy believes family partnership should be treated as an essential part of student success. When families are welcomed into meaningful roles, school communities become stronger, more connected, and better able to support children.

STEM and Hands-On Learning

Students need opportunities to build, create, problem-solve, and discover what they can do.

Jeremy has a strong interest in STEM, robotics, innovation, and applied learning. Hands-on experiences can change how students see themselves and help them develop persistence, teamwork, and confidence.

Robotics, engineering, making, and creative problem-solving give students real opportunities to test ideas, recover from setbacks, and discover strengths they may not have seen in themselves before. VEX Robotics and related programs also show the value of parent involvement, encouragement, and shared investment in student growth.

Community Involvement

School communities grow stronger when people show up, participate, and contribute.

A healthy school community is built through steady involvement. Events, committees, arts programs, and school activities all help create the trust and shared responsibility that students benefit from most.

That belief is reflected in Jeremy’s own family life as well. Parents have been very involved in VEX Robotics, and Mrs. Sayers has been actively involved in Adventures in Art, school events, and school committees. It reflects a larger belief that schools are stronger when families, educators, and community members all have a real place in the work.
